hi, i was searching online how to create woolen yarn and you mentioned on your page that you slapped it against the counter? does that help then, I am a first time spinner and I want fluffy soft bouncy yarn, I am spinning alpaca and I either put too much twist, because its really dense…or too little and it ends up falling apart…will this slapping thing help…thanks for any info you have.

Hello,
I was linked to your site via PoMo Golightly’s blog and am extremely impressed by the quality of your photographs, especially your little birdy friend. Can you tell me what kind of camera you are shooting with? I am in the market to “trade up” from a point and shoot to a DSLR and am very nervous about making the right decision.
Thanks for any info. Also, congratulations on completing your residency. What an accomplishment!!

Hi – I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction….
I’m looking for knitting and crochet classes and info on spinning. I’m in Woodstock, CT and found your blog after searching for the CT Sheep Festival and info – are you near Woodstock/Vernon?
Thanks,
Becky
